| Situated in Frontier Country, Carnarvon Dale is an 1857 family farm on the banks of the Bushman’s River. This historic Settler farmhouse once provided lodgings for travelers, whose journeys had been halted by the flooded river, until it was safe for them to cross. In this same tradition of hospitality, we welcome you into our home and invite you to share our heritage. Once too, travelers recorded that our open plains were home to the mighty elephant and fearsome lion and that the valley bushveld teemed with game of many species.
